2011's Interact Congress was bigger, brighter and better than ever – with over 400 senior decision makers from online and traditional advertising debating and discussing their current relationship and what the future holds.
The fifth edition of Interact was entitled Together Forever? Online + Traditional media. We explored the power of advertising when online and traditional media are combined. We showed how online plus other media can win the consumer’s attention, increase engagement levels and build brand loyalty over time.
We had a stimulating programme on June 8 with presentations and panel debates from both our Research and Public Affairs teams and then we split the afternoon into two streams: Research and Advertising. And on June 9 our keynote speakers wowed delegates with their insight and experiences.
Senior executives from the interactive online advertising industry and traditional media came together to discuss and debate the state of their current relationship and their future. Will they be together forever?
Keynote speakers included Mark Read, Strategy Director and CEO of WPP Digital, Kamal Bherwani, Chief Digital Officer of Prisa and Marc Bresseel, Vice President of Global Marketing of Microsoft.
Those speakers took to the stage on the main conference day on 9th June which combined keynote presentations, a panel debate and case studies of successful cross-media ad campaigns from leading advertisers including Diageo and Anheuser Busch.
As well as hearing and debating the latest developments in the industry, delegates will also have the opportunity to network with their peers and to meet with decision-makers, international advertisers, publishers, media companies, agencies and market research companies in one of Europe's most beautiful and inspiring cities. There are numerous breaks between sessions so that you can catch up with colleagues, and our evening social events have become legendary in bringing the industry together.
